Mikros Systems released its much awaited Version 3 software. The Version 3 software consists of a range of programs for communication to and control of the RAKTEL traffic data loggers. These programs are supported by comprehensive data processing and reporting software. Version 3 is fully compatible with Windows 7.
The Version 3 software has been restructured allowing most users free access to most of the communication and data processing functions. The more advanced features are now licensed at a moderate rate to allow for continuous support.
With more projects and installations being controlled from remote locations, both the communications and data processing software now allows for time zones and day light saving.
The communication software is compatible with all major available communication channels, networks and protocols. The data processing software allows for most of the common data formats and interfaces.
The Version 3 software now accommodates fully automated data collection, validation and reporting. The validators are of the most comprehensive available. Checks are done both on equipment and data health. The validator checks the data against macro as well as micro parameters. On a macro level data is checked against overall parameters and on a micro level individual vehicle parameters are checked.
For more general use a WEB application can be down loaded that allows real time access to traffic data. The application runs on the users computer and uses the Internet to update only the required data. This makes it a highly efficient and fast data rendering tool. Data is presented in tabular as well as graphical format.

MASS 5000 is a robust portable Low Speed Weigh In Motion system. The system consists of two low profile load cell weigh sensors (rated 40 ton each), a hand held control terminal and a set of leveler mats. The system is supported by the MASS 5010 software that can control the weigh process and video cameras with frame grab.
